Chapter One
Muhammad is captured and brought into a slave ship off the coast of Sierra Leone, West Africa. He is in the bottom of a slave ship for 36 days before setting sail for the United States. He suffers on the slave ship because he is shackled to ship. He is afraid because he does not know what his future holds. I'm sure he is asking himself some questions. What questions would you ask yourself if you had been captured and were on the bottom of a slave ship?
